Dr. Jacob Oran has been treating patients at Columbus General Surgery since 2021. He strives to treat his patients as he would his family members, helping them feel as comfortable as possible in a stressful situation. While he enjoys all the types of surgeries he performs in his practice, he is especially interested in hernia surgery.

Dr. Oran completed his undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, which was also where he completed his surgical residency. He is certified with the American Board of Surgery, and is also certified in advanced cardiovascular life support and advanced trauma life support. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons.
